Redeeming to PayPal — what to expect

The minimum
PayPal redemptions start at $5. The first redemption on a new account is held for manual review (one-time only); subsequent ones go straight to the processor.
Lifecycle
A PayPal payout moves through:
- pending — accepted; sitting in the queue.
- processing — handed off to the payment partner.
- paid — funds delivered to your PayPal.
- failed — partner rejected; your balance is refunded automatically.
Common reasons for delays
- PayPal account email doesn't match: change the destination to your verified PayPal email.
- PayPal account is unverified: payouts will hold until you confirm your bank or card on PayPal's side.
- Country mismatch: some PayPal accounts can't accept payouts from US-based senders.
If something looks stuck for more than 24 hours on a weekday, open a support ticket from the floating help button — include the payout id from your dashboard.
